Weight & Pricing Policy

Many of our products are sold by weight, such as salmon, haddock, cod, tuna and other fillets. Because every fish is naturally different in size, the exact weight of each portion can vary slightly.

How Our Weight-Based Pricing Works

When you place an order, you select the weight you would like (for example, 250g, 500g or 1kg). We then cut and prepare your portion as close to the selected weight as possible.

  • We always aim to cut your portion as accurately as we can
  • We never overcharge on purpose
  • If the final weight is slightly under or over, we adjust the price fairly
  • You will always receive excellent value and a generous portion

Why Weight May Vary

Fish is a natural product and every fillet is unique. When cutting by hand, small differences in size and shape are normal and expected.

Price Adjustments

If your final portion is slightly lighter or heavier than the selected weight, we will:

  • charge you the correct amount based on the exact weight, or
  • provide an equivalent portion to ensure you receive fair value

If any significant adjustment is required, we will always act reasonably and ensure you receive a fair deal.
