Our Smoked Herring Pâté is handmade in small batches at our Aldeburgh smokehouse. We use locally smoked herring fillets, gently blended with smooth cream cheese, horseradish sauce, lemon juice, and freshly cracked black pepper to create a rich, savoury spread with a gentle tang.
Each pot captures the distinctive depth of oak-smoked herring balanced by the freshness of lemon and spice. It’s bold, creamy, and deeply satisfying — a traditional Suffolk favourite made using time-honoured smoking methods.
Perfect on oatcakes, crusty bread, or alongside salads and smoked fish platters. We finish each pot with a hint of parsley before chilling, for a smooth, spreadable pâté that’s ready to enjoy straight from the tub.

Keep refrigerated at 0–5 °C. Use by the date shown on the pack.
Suitable for home freezing — freeze on the day of purchase and use within 3 months.
